Words speak: How beautiful is the sight, how sublime/elevating(?) /excellent(?) is 〈indeed〉 the sight of this god's ascent to heaven, like the ascent of the father Atum to heaven, with his Ba upon him, his magic at his sides, his terror at his feet, after [he (Atum) has] brought [the cities] for this Pepi, for this Pepi has united the districts and [for him] ⸢the $msm$-lands⸣ have been assembled. [Geb, the Iripat of the gods, is] the one who spoke for this reason. [The hills of Horus], the hills of Seth [and the marshland], they praise this Pepi like $Dwꜣ.w$, like $Jꜣḥs$, who is at the head of Upper Egypt, like $Ddwn$, who is at the head of Nubia, like Sopdu, who is among his $ksb.t$-trees, and they set up ⸢a ladder⸣ for this Pepi, set up a ladder for [this] Pepi, [raise a ladder for] this Pepi, (saying): "Come, ladder, come, [narrow ladder (?), come], (whatever) your name, which the gods have spoken, (loud)!" Pepi [will] ascend on the thighs of Isis [and Pepi will climb up on the thighs of Nephthys. The father of Pepi, Atum, will grasp the arm of Pepi and he will set Pepi at the head [of those] ⸢wise⸣ and knowledgeable gods, who do not [perish]. [Behold, what you have said, gods, (namely) that] this Pepi [would not] be at [your] head - [behold, Pepi Neferkare is] ⸢at⸣ [your] ⸢head⸣ [established as the Everlasting of the wild bulls].

Pepi [wird] auf den Schenkeln der Isis [emporsteigen] und Pepi wird auf den Schenkeln der Nephthys emporklimmen. Der Vater des Pepi, Atum, wird sich den Arm des Pepi fassen und er wird Pepi an die Spitze [jener] ⸢klugen⸣ und weisen Götter setzen, die nicht [untergehen].
