Words speak: "How beautiful it is to see, how satisfying it is to behold," say they, the gods, "how this god ascends to heaven, how Unas ascends to heaven, with his Ba-power upon him, his terror beside him, his magical powers before him (lit.: at his feet)." Geb has acted for him just as it was acted for him. The gods come to him, the Bas of Pe, and the gods, the Bas of Hierakonpolis, the gods who belong to heaven, and the gods who belong to earth, so that they may set up carrying poles for Unas on their arms. May you, Unas, ascend to heaven. Ascend upon him in this his name "Ladder." "Unas has been given heaven and he has been given earth," says Atum. Who spoke because of this is Geb. The hills (of) my hill, the hill of Horus, the hill of Seth, the marshy fields, they praise you in this your name $Dwꜣ.w$, like Sopdu, who is among his $ksb.t$-trees. Did he kill you after his heart had said that you should die for his sake? Behold, you have become the enduring one of the wild bulls against him. Endure, endure, Enduring (Bull)! May you, Unas, be enduring, (you) who are at their head, who is at the head of the axle, forever.

Geb hat für ihn ganz so gehandelt, wie für ihn dabei gehandelt wurde. Es kommen zu ihm die Götter, Bas von Pe, und die Götter, Bas von Hierakonpolis, die Götter, die zum Himmel gehören, und die Götter, die zur Erde gehören, damit sie für Unas auf ihren Armen Tragestangen errichten. Mögest du doch, Unas, zum Himmel emporsteigen. Steige auf ihm hinauf in diesem seinem Namen "Leiter". "Unas ist der Himmel gegeben worden und ihm ist die Erde gegeben worden", sagt Atum. Wer deswegen sprach, ist Geb. Die Hügel (meines) Hügels, der Hügel des Horus, der Hügel des Seth, die Binsengefilde, sie preisen dich in diesem deinem Namen $Dwꜣ.w$, wie Sopdu, der unter seinen $ksb.t$-Bäumen ist. Hat er dich getötet, nachdem sein Herz gesagt hatte, daß du seinetwegen sterben sollst? Siehe doch, du bist doch gegen ihn zum Überdauernden der Wildstiere geworden. Dauere fort, dauere fort, Überdauernder (Stier)! Mögest du, Unas, fortdauernd sein, (du) der an ihrer Spitze ist, der an der Spitze der Achs ist, in Ewigkeit.
