My God Thoth is as a shield behind me. Turn everything that comes from your mouth against any enemy! I will be buried in Abydos in the tomb of my father. I am a son of truth from the place Island of the Righteous. I will be buried with/among my group in the Necropolis Hill of Abydos. How do you see the crime of my heart? Then you shall accuse me! To whom have I thought of you with evil words? I want to compose for you a bundle of writings similar to a pleasure (or: I have composed), so that one may be amused by it when one hears it, like something funny. You have repeatedly said about me: "Weak-armed" and "Powerless." You have belittled me as a scribe; and you have said: "He knows/can do nothing." Have I ever spent a moment with you, flattering you with the words: "Be my helper/support," while another tormented me?
