Words-Speak: Awaken, Wepiu! Be exalted, Thoth! Awaken, sleepers! Wake up, you in Kenzet, before the Great Heron, who has come from the garden, (and before) Wepwaut, who has come from the tamarisk thicket. Pure is the mouth of Unas, (since?) the two nines incense Unas. Pure is also this tongue, which is in his mouth. Unas' abomination is dung; Unas keeps away from urine. Unas despises his abomination. Unas' abomination is this(?), he does not eat (it). Unas' abomination is this(?), just as Seth rejects death. You two companions, who cross the sky! - These are Re and Thoth. - Take Unas with you, so that he may eat of what you eat, so that he may drink of what you drink, so that he may live of what you live, so that he may sit where you sit, so that he may be strong in what you are strong, so that he may travel with what you travel. The tent of Unas is woven from reeds. The (water) abundance of Unas is in the field of offerings. His donation is among you, (you) gods. The water of Unas is wine like (that of) Re. Unas encircles the sky like Re. Unas traverses the sky like Thoth.

Rein ist der Mund des Unas, (da?) die beiden Neunheiten Unas beweihräuchern. Rein ist auch diese Zunge, die in seinem Mund ist. Unas' Abscheu ist Kot; Unas hält sich fern von Urin. Unas verabscheut seinen Abscheu. Unas' Abscheu ist dies(?), er ißt (es) nicht. Unas' Abscheu ist dies(?), so wie Seth den Tod abweist. Ihr beiden Genossen, die ihr den Himmel überquert! - Das sind Re und Thot. - Nehmt doch Unas mit euch mit, damit er von dem esse, wovon ihr eßt, damit er von dem trinke, wovon ihr trinkt, damit er von dem lebe, wovon ihr lebt, damit er dort sitze, wo ihr sitzt, damit er stark sei in dem, worin ihr stark seid, damit er damit fahre, womit ihr fahrt. Das Zelt des Unas ist aus Binsen geflochten. Die (Wasser-)Fülle des Unas ist im Opfergefilde. Seine Spende ist unter euch, (ihr) Götter. Das Wasser des Unas ist Wein wie (das des) Re. Unas umrundet den Himmel wie Re. Unas durchzieht den Himmel wie Thot.
