Words speak: O (my) father Pepi Neferkare! This/so is your going: You have gone away like a god; you will be carried away like one belonging to the water region (of the sky). Your messengers go, your couriers run, so that they may ascend to heaven and say to Re that you thus stand at the two shrines of the horizon at the height(?) of heaven(?). Sit on the throne of your father Geb at the head of the shrine, on that throne of metal, which the gods admire. The two nines come to you in reverence. You command the $ḥnmm.t$-people like Min, who is in his house, like Horus, who is from $Ḏbꜥ.wt$. Seth can surely not be free from bearing your burden.
Worte sprechen: O (mein) Vater Pepi Neferkare! Dies/so ist dein Gehen: Du bist weggegangen wie ein Gott; du wirst gefahren werden wie ein zum Wassergebiet (des Himmels) Gehöriger. Deine Boten gehen, deine Eilboten rennen, damit sie zum Himmel emporsteigen und zu Re sagen, daß du also an den beiden Schreinen des Horizonts auf der Höhe(?) des Himmels(?) stehst. Sitz auf dem Thron deines Vaters Geb an der Spitze des Schreins, auf jenem Thron aus Metall, den die Götter bestaunen. Die beiden Neunheiten kommen zu dir in Verneigung. Du befiehlst den $ḥnmm.t$-Leuten wie Min, der in seinem Haus ist, wie Horus, der von $Ḏbꜥ.wt$. Seth kann gewiß nicht frei davon sein, deine Last zu tragen.
