Praise for "Re-Harachte, who rejoices in the horizon in his name sunlight, which is in the sun disk" (=Aton), who gives life forever and ever. Welcome, [Lord of Eternity]! Praise to you, O Re, Lord of the Horizon! When you traverse the sky, all people turn to you, without ceasing, in the night as in the day. You rise in the eastern horizon and you set in the western horizon. In joy you go down in life. The eyes of the people are in exultation, yet they cease when you have set and you have united with [the horizon]. No eye sees the other. All creeping things on the earth sleep. They are blind until you shine. They awaken to see your beauty. When [you] rise, they can see. They recognize themselves when you give them your rays. May you grant that I rest in my place of eternity, so that I may unite with the cave of eternity, so that I may go in and out of my tomb, without my Ba being withheld from what it desires, so that I may walk according to the wish of my heart in the plantings that I have made on earth, and so that I may daily without ceasing drink water from the edge of my offering bowl.

Lobpreis dir, o Re, Herr des Horizontes! Wenn du den Himmel durchziehst, wenden sich dir alle Menschen zu, ohne Unterlass, in der Nacht wie am Tage. Du gehst im östlichen Horizont auf und du gehst im westlichen Horizont unter. In Freude gehts du im Leben unter. Die Augen der Menschen sind in Jauchzen, doch sie hören auf, nachdem du untergegangen bist und du dich mit [dem Horizont] vereinigt hast. Kein Auge sieht das andere. Alle Kriechtiere auf der Erde schlafen. Sie sind blind, bis du leuchtest. Sie erwachen, um deine Schönheit zu sehen. Wenn [du] aufgehst, können sie sehen. Sie erkennen sich selbst, wenn du ihnen deine Strahlen gibst. Mögest du gewähren, dass ich an meinem Platz der Ewigkeit ruhe, damit ich mich mit der Höhle der Ewigkeit vereinige, damit ich ein- und ausgehe in meinem Grab, ohne dass mein Ba von dem, was er wünscht, zurückgehalten wird, damit ich nach dem Wunsch meines Herzens in den Pfanzungen, die ich auf Erden gemacht habe, wandle, und damit ich täglich ohne Unterlass Wasser vom Rand meiner Opferschale trinke.
