(It is) the father of the god, the scribe of the [god] book of Osiris, Hori, who says to the scribe of the Neschemet bark, Paser, [...]: Do not give yourself over to the workings (lit.: the arms) of your heart, so that you do not act foolishly (lit.: play the foolish one)! (For,) when it says to you: "Pursue pleasure!" - "Agreed〈!〉," you say to it (then). Beware of going in and out (constantly)! Make the writings your own (lit.: grasp the writings)! As for the scribe: (he is) the first of his companions, the most important of all offices/careers. Oh, that I had a ..., who carries (or: 〈to〉 carry)!
