The fan-bearer on the right side of the king, scribe of the king, overseer of the city (Pyramid city) and vizier Chaii says 〈to〉 the great of the troop Neb-neferu as follows: Let this writing be brought to you with the wording: Direct your attention more strongly to the completion of every task in the palace of the Pharaoh, l.h.g., in which you are in proper position. Do not allow yourself to be reproached. And you shall examine the income of the troop that is in the treasury of the Pharaoh, l.h.g. Prevent any matter from being delayed, for the inspector who is in the treasury of the Pharaoh from the royal necropolis has written to me regarding your income as follows: Let it be sent to them. After that, I will travel downstream to where Man (=the Pharaoh) is and I will inform the Pharaoh about our needs. Behold, I will arrange for the great scribe Paser to come with the commission to Thebes. When he has come to you at the fortress of ..., then go for him/with him there and then you shall send him to us regarding your situation.
