Saying to open the underworld. By NN, justified, to speak: Greetings to you, lords of Maat, free from Isfet, who are alive for eternity and endlessly enduring. I come to you ("open to you"), effective in my form, powerful in my "magical power," laden with my Ach-force. May you save me from the "Furious" of this island of the righteous. My mouth belongs to me. May I speak through it! Offerings are given to me in your presence. I [know] you, I know your names. I know that great god, to whose nose you give their food. His name is Tekem. He emerges ("opens") from the eastern horizon of the sky. In the western horizon of the sky, he settles down. If he goes away, I go away; if he goes there, I go there. I will not be driven away by the Mesqet. No enemies will gain power over me. I will not be hindered from your gates. You will not close your portals before me. For (my) bread is in Pe and my beer in Dep. The (foods that) my arms have gathered are in the temple. My father Atum has given me countless (amounts of) barley and emmer there, prepared for me there for my feasts by my biological son. May you give me a funerary offering and incense and oil and all good and pure things, from which a god lives, an everlasting existence in every form that I will wish for. May I travel up and down in the field of rushes! May I unite with the field of offerings! I am Ruti. Whoever knows this saying, or on whose coffin it is written, can go out by day in any form that he will wish. Bread and beer will be given to him and a large piece of meat on the altar of the great god. He can go out to the field of rushes. Barley and emmer will be given to him there. Then he is thriving, as if he were on earth. He can do all that he wishes, like those gods who are in him (the field of rushes). Proven effective a million times.
