This Pepi goes into the lake of Kenzet; this Pepi cleanses himself in the marshland of reeds. This Pepi shall be purified by the guidance of Horus. They recite for Pepi the spell of ascent, they recite for this Pepi (the spell of) rising up. This Pepi ascends into this {your} bark of Re, which the gods row. When this Pepi rises, they rejoice at the approach of this Pepi, just as they rejoice at the approach of Re when he emerges in the east: "Rise up! Rise up!"
