I cannot recognize any profession that is equal to it (or) over which this saying is asserted. I will ensure that you love writing more than your mother. And I will ensure that its (i.e., the profession of the scribe) perfection becomes known to you. For it is indeed more important than any (other) profession. There is none like it that is to be discussed.
