the top inscription band consists of a repetition over and over of the words: "nasr min Allah (victory is from God.)" The lower inscripton band reads: "Bism Allah al-rahman al-rahim la ilaha illa Allah wahdahu la sharik lahu 'izz min Allah nasr min Allah nasr min Allah barakah Muhammad rasul Allah 'Ali wali Allah sallá Allah 'alayhim[a. . . (In the name of God the merciful, the Compassionate. There is no god but God along; there is no one associated with Him. Glory is from God. Victory is from God. Victory is from God. Blessing. Muhammad is the apostle of God; Ali is the true friend of God, may God bless the[m. . .]."
