Man Riding Two Horses

Source of record: Walters Art Museum (Egyptian) — catalogued by the holding institution. View the original record →

Description

This small object shows a man riding on the backs of two horses--in profile, on either side, he appears to ride one horse. But from the front, back, or above, the two heads and two tails of the horses are differentiated. The man's long hair, beard, and the hair and trappings of the horses are purple or brown, while the rest of the piece is light green.

For the latest information about this object, Man Riding Two Horses, visit the Online Collection of the Walters Art Museum.
