Im vierundzwanzigsten Jahr des Imperator Caesar Titus Aelius Hadrianus An[t]oninus Augustus Pius, am 4. Ph[a]ô[phi]. Von der Bank des Palamêdês und (seiner) Genossen in Dionysias. Satyros, Sohn des Satyros, des Sohnes des Damariôn, gemeldet im Viertel der Bithyner des I[siô]n, (bestätigt) [D]iodôros, Sohn des Papûs, des Sohnes des Hêraklas, daß [er] erhalten hat [den] Kaufpreis für ein Kamel – männlich, rötlich, nach dem ersten Zahnwechsel, markiert auf dem rechten Schenkel Delta Iôta –, das Satyros von Diod[ôro]s gekauft hat, und das Satyros als so, wie es (jetzt) beschaffen ist, nicht zurückzugeben empfangen hat von den Kamelen, die Diodôros in der Kamelliste für das Dorf Dionysi[a]s hat, in Höhe von dreihundertzweiundfünfzig [Silber]drachmen . Und Diodoros wird die Garantie übernehmen, wobei dieses ( sc. das Kamel) auch frei ist von staatlichen Abgaben bis zum vergangenen dreizehnten Jahr und (einschließlich) dieses (Jahres). Und es ist notwendig, daß Satyros dieses ( sc. das Kamel) meldet bei der Kamelmeldung des gegenwärtigen 14. Jahres in der Metropole und daß er die staatlichen Abgaben vom 14. Jahr an aufbringt. (2. Hand) Ich, Di[odôr]os, Sohn des Papû[s], des Sohnes des [Hêra]kl[as], habe an Saty[r]os, Sohn des Satyro[s], des Sohnes des D[am]a[r]iôn, das oben erwähnte Kamel – eines, männlich, rötlich, nach dem ersten Zahnwechsel, markiert auf dem rechen Schenkel Delta und Iôta –, als so, wie es (jetzt) beschaffen ist, nicht zurückzugeben , verkauft [und] ich habe den Kaufpreis [ für dieses ] (in Höhe von) dreihundertzweiundfünfzig Silberdrachmen erhalten und werde die Garantie übernehmen .

(m. 2) I, Di[odor]os, son of Papo[us], the son of [Hera]kl[as], have sold to Saty[r]os, son of Satyros, the son of D[am]a[r]ion, the above mentioned one reddish camel, which has cast its first teeth and has on its right haunch a brand mark Delta and Iota , on the spot, just as it is, unreturnable , and I have received the price for it of three hundred and fifty two silver drachmas and I shall guarantee (the sale).
