Im gegenwärtigen 5. Jahr des Traianus Caesar, des Herren, wurden wir zusammen mit anderen, die auch aus der Metropole stammen, in beleidigender Weise für die Sitologie des Dorfes Bakchias vorgeschlagen . Weil wir wegen dieser Sache keine Ruhe finden konnten, haben wir uns an Dich gewandt und Du hast uns angewiesen, nach Alexandria zu reisen *** und so nicht ausreichen wird *** wandten wir uns in Alexandria an den Statthalter Minicius Italus, den vir egregius . Er verwies uns an den hier unter ihm abzuhaltenden Konvent . [Die] staatlichen Sitologen des Dorfes aber beendeten ihr beleidigendes Verhalten gegen uns nicht, sondern drangen ganz ohne Befugnis mit dem archephodos des Dorfes in die uns im Dorf gehörenden Häuser ein. Dabei brachen sie die Türen einiger Häuser auf und bei einigen versiegelten sie <die> Vorratsräume, weil sie den Fehlbetrag der Sitologie , den wir nicht übernommen haben, eintreiben wollten. Hiermit ersuchen wir darum, uns, wenn es Dir gefällt, zu gestatten, uns von ihnen fernzuhalten, bis der Statthalter , der vir egregius , in der Gegend eintrifft und uns anhört .
