Ἰσίδωρος πράκτωρ ἀργυρικῶν Καρανίδος ΔίωνιΔιων χειριστῇχιριστῇ χαίρειν. ἔσχον παρὰ σοῦ εἰς καταβο λὴν ἀριθμήσεως Φαῶφι ἀργυρίου τάλαντον ἓν καὶ δραχμὰς πεντα κοσίας γίνεται τάλαντον α δραχμαὶ φ, ἃς καὶκὰ κατα βαλῶ ἐπὶ τὴν δημοσίαν τράπεζαν. ἔτους ιε Ἀντωνίνου Καίσαρος τοῦ κυρίου Ἁθὺρ καὶ Ἁδριανοῦ ιδ εἰς ἀρίθμησιν μηνὸς Ἁδρια νοῦ ὁμοίως ἄλλαςἄλλλας δραχμὰς πεντακοσίας γίνονται δραχμαὶ φ.

Is[i]dôros, der Einnehmer der Geldsteuern von Karanis, grüßt Diôn, den Gehilfen . Ich habe von Dir (erhalten) als Einzahlung zur Verrechnung für Phaôphi ein Talent und fünfhundert Drachmen Silbern, das sind 1 Talent, 500 Drachmen, die ich in die Staatsbank einzahlen werde. Im 15. Jahr des [An]to[ni]nus Caesar, des Herrren, am [x.] Ha[thy]r. Und am 14. Hadrianos zur Verrechnung für den Monat Hadrianos ebenso weitere fünfhundert Drachmen, [das sind] 500 Drachmen.
