Κλέωνι ἐκομισάμην ἃ ἐγεγράφεις. ἐβουλόμην οὖν, ὥσπερ οἱ θεοὶ ἴστωσαν, καθόλου σε μὴ δοῦναι τὴν ἐπιγραφήν. τῶν δὲ κατοίκων τὸ εἶδος διʼ ἑαυτῶν κεχειρι κότων παρεποδίσθην· ὅμως οὐδὲ κατὰ πᾶν ἀφιλανθρώπητός εἰμιεἰμει, ἀντὶ γὰρ πλειόνων ας τῶν προσαγομένων εἰς ὀλίγα συνέστειλα, καθάπερ Διοφάντωι συνφανὲς γέγονεν.Cross-references (3)
