Μένων Ἑρμοκράτει τῷ ἀδελφῶιταιδελφῶι χαίρειν. εἰ ἔρρωσαι, ἐρρώμεθα δὲ καὶ αὐτοὶ καὶ καὶ Ἀφροδισία καὶ ἡ θυγάτηρ καὶ ἡ παιδίσκη καὶ ἡ θυγάτηρ αὐτῆς. ἔγραψας ἡμῖν διὰ τὸ κέναι ἡμῖν τὴν ἵππον καὶκὰ παρʼ Ἰουδαίου σθαι αὐτήν, οὗ τὸ ὄνομα ἀγνοοῦμεν. αὐτοῦ δὲ μηδʼ ἀποδεδωκότος ἡμῖν μη δὲ ἵππον μηδὲ τὴν πορείαν αὐτῆς ἐπι δεδωκότος, ἐγράψαμέν σοι, ὅπως οὖν εἰδῆις. ἔρρωσο. καλῶς οὖν ποιήσεις ἀγοράσας ἐμοί τε πορφύρας στατῆρας δύο καὶ Ἀφροδισίαι δύο .
