Object Label: This small foot attached to the leg of a standing statue by means of the well-preserved tenon seen in the middle of the foot. The peg visible on top of the foot secured it to the independently carved base. Caption: Front Part of Left Foot, 2500–332 B.C.E.. Wood (sycamore fig), 13/16 x 1 1/16 x 1 7/8 in. (2 x 2.7 x 4.8 cm).
