pillar fragment (?), Aten and Akhenaten named. New Kingdom, Amarna Period, Dynasty 18, reign of Akhenaten, ca. 1353–1336 B.C. Indurated limestone. H. 14.5 × W. 10 × D. 12 cm (5 11/16 × 3 15/16 × 4 3/4 in.); side edge of b.p. 4.5 cm before narrowing further, with rebate distance on either side of about 1.3 (p.l) -1.5(p.r.) cm to create a b.p. about 10 cm total width at its beginning (whole thing inclines so as to narrow toward statue).
