amulet
Description
Amulet of the head of a goddess: a small papyrus column is surmounted by the head of a goddess wearing the usual heavy, striated wig. Probably Wadjet is represented though it could as easily be Hathor. The features are conventionalized. Remains of a suspension loop on the top of the head. The fabric is coarse and the colour a pale green-blue.
