Description

A green glazed composition amulet in the shape of Horus as a child (Harpocrates). In a seated position with both arms lowered. Lower body and right hand missing. Original form would have shown Isis suckling Horus, as evidenced by the preserved hand on the back of Horus' head. A larger figure of Isis enthroned was presumably part of the original amulet.
