Canopic chest, Lady Sitre. Late Middle Kingdom–Second Intermediate Period, Dynasty 13–17, ca. 1700–1550 B.C. wood, paint. H. 42 cm (16 9/16 in); w. 40 cm (15 3/4 in); d. 36 cm (14 3/16 in). From: Gebelein (Krokodilopolis), Southern Upper Egypt, Egypt. Excavation: Egyptian Antiquities Service/Maspero excavations, 1885–86. Credit: Funds from various donors, 1886.
