Memorandum to Zenon from Asklepias

Asklepias asks Zenon to give her a travelling allowance to enable her to go up the river and join Eirenaios, lest he should think her neglectful. Eirenaios, who was probably her husband, had sent a message bidding her to come.

ὑπόμνημα Ζήνωνι παρὰ Ἀσ κληπιάδος. καλῶς ποιήσεις, περὶ ὧν σοι Εἰρη ναῖος ἐνετείλατο, δούς μοι τὸ ἐφόδιον, ὅπως ἂν ἀνα κομισθῶ πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ μὴ δοκῆι με αὐτοῦ καταρρᾳ θυμεῖν. καὶ ἄγγελόνἄγγελόμ μοι ἀπέσ τειλε καλῶνκαλῶμ με. σὺ οὖν μοι τί συν τάσσεις; εὐτύχει.
