Fragment of an inventory of a boat's rigging and tackle, listing ropes with their lengths in cubits, handles and old straps. The verso, probably a docket, mentions tackle and a man named Petobastis. It belongs to the Zenon archive from Philadelphia in the Fayum, mid 3rd century BC.
Ankoine and opisthypera are technical rigging terms, a halyard and a rope for the back of the yard, with no precise English equivalents. The Greek hopla on the verso means a ship's gear or tackle here, not weapons.
