Οὐαλεριανὸς Σωκράτῃ χαίρειν. ὁ ὑπηρέτης παρʼ ᾧ τὸν χαλκὸν ἐθε ματίσαμεν λέγει δεδωκέναι τῶι πράκτορι ὡς ἵνα σοι μεταβάληται. καὶ ἐπεὶ ἡ ἑορτὴ προσεγγίζει ἐν ᾗ ἴσως καὶ σὺ καὶ ὁ πράκτωρ ἀνελεύ σεσθε οὐδὲν πλέον ἐποίησα. σὺ οὖν σύμβαλε τῷ πράκτορι Σωκράτει.
