Φλαυίῳ Διοσκόρῳ Ἀπολλῶτος συντελεστῇ Ἰακῦβις Ἀβρααμίου πρεσβύτερος χαίρειν. ἔχω σου καὶ ὀφείλω, ὑπὲρ τιμῆς τοῦ φόρου, τῆς σπορᾶς καὶ τῆς ἀρδεύσεωςἀρτεύσεως, χρυσοῦ νομισμάτιον ἓν παρὰ κεράτια δύο χρυσοχοικῷ, γίνεται νομισμάτιον α παρὰ κεράτια β. καὶ τοῦτο ἑτοίμως ἔχω παρασχεῖν σοι ἐν τῇ δευτέρᾳ καταβολῇ τοῦ δημοσίου τῆς παρούσης τρεισκαιδεκάτηςτρισκαιδεκάτης ἰνδικτίονος. καὶ εἰς σὴν ἀσφάλειαν πεποίημαί σοι τοῦτο τὸ πιττάκιον ὡς πρόκειται. To Flavius Dioskoros, son of Apollos, synteletes vac. Jakob, son of Abraham, priest, greetings. I have and I owe you for the price of the rent for the harvest and irrigation one gold solidus minus two carats of the goldsmith standard, i.e. 1 s(olidus) minus 2 c(arats). And I am ready to supply it to you on the second payment of taxes of the present thirteenth indiction. And for your security I have made this pittakion for you as above. Phaophi 21, 13th indiction.
