Ποσειδώνιος Ἀπολλωνίωι χαίρειν. ἐξ σιτηγοῦ τινος τῶν ἡμετέρων ἀναπλέοντος εἰς τὴν χώραν ἐμβάντες ἐνἐμ Μέμφει οἱ περὶ Σωσίστρατον ἐξείλοντο τὸν σίδηρον ὃν ἀναγκαῖον ἦν ὑπάρχειν ἐν τῶι πλοίωι πρὸς τὰς προσπι πτούσας χρείας· ἀδύνατονἀδύνατογ γάρ μοι δοκεῖ εἶναι ἄνευ τῶν ἀναγ καίων σκευῶν πλεῖν τὰ πλοῖα· καὶ ἐμοῦ αὐτοῖς γράψαντος πλεονάκις ἀποδοῦναι οὐ προσέσχον, ἀλλʼ ἀπέδοντο. γέγραφα οὖν σοι ὅπως εἰδῆις ὅτι τοιοῦτοί εἰσι οἱ πρὸς ταῖς φυλακαῖς τεταγμένοι. ἔρρωσο. ἔτους κη, Δίου κα. ΠοσειδωνίουΠοσειδώνου ἐδεάτρου περὶ Σωσιστράτου τελώνου. Ἀπολλωνίωι.
