Ζήνωνι χαίρειν Θέων ὁ συσταθεὶς ὑπʼὑπʼ Ἐφαρμόστου τοῦ μακα ρίτου. τὰ μὲν ἄλλα χάριν ἔχω πάσης πολυωρίας παρὰ σοῦ τυγ χάνων, ἀξιῶ δέ σε, εἰ καί σοι φαίνομαι μέτρια λέγειν, τάξαι με ἐπί τινος, ὅπως ἄν σοι χρείας παρέχωμαι ὑπουργῶν ἀμέμπτως τὸ προστασσόμενον, ἵνα ἐγώ τε τὰ παρὰ σοῦ διδόμενα λαμ βάνω δικαιότερον, σύ τε ἥδιον διδῶις ποιοῦντός τι ἐμοῦ πλέον σοι. εἰ δʼ ἐπὶ τοῦ παρόντος ἡσυχίαν ἄγειν κελεύεις, τὸντὸμ μὲν καιρὸν αὐτὸς εἰδήσεις, ἐμοὶ δὲ καλῶςκαιλως ἂν ποιήσαις συντάξας ὅπως ἂν παρα δειχθῆι μεθʼ ὧν οἰκίαν τε ἕξω καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ δέοντα, ἵνα μὴ πρεσ βύτερος ὢν ῥέμβωμαι. πρὸς ἕτερον γὰνργὰρ οὐθένα καταφυ γεῖν ἐστί μοι καλῶς ἐχον, ἐξ ἀρχῆς σοι μου συσταθέντοςσυναποσυσταθεντοςσυναπσυσταθεντος.
