ὁ δεῖνα Ζήνωνι χαίρειν. εἰ ἔρρωσαι σύ τε καὶ οὓς προαιρεῖ καὶ τὰ λοιπά σοι κατὰ νοῦν ἐστιν, εἴη ἂν ὡς τοῖς θεοῖς εὔχομαι. ὑγιαίνω δὲ καὶ αὐτός. ανμεν σοι π τὴν συνέστησας ἡμῖν, Νικάνορι πειρώμεθα ουλι ανιπαν τοὺς λοιποὺς ὑπηρέτας, προαγήγοχεν ἡμᾶς εἰς πᾶσαν πίστιν ἐπακολουθήσας τῶι ἡμετέρωι τρόπωι. οἶμαι δὲ καὶ αὐτὸν συμμένειν διεερειν ἡμῶν. καλῶς ἂν οὖν ποιοῖς μὴ ἀφοκνῶν γράφειν πρός τε Νικάνορα καὶ πρὸς Ἑκαταῖον ἵνα τὴν ἐπιμέλειαν ἡμῶν ποιῶνται, ἐὰν ὦμεν ἄξιοί σου τοῦ συστήσαντος. τὴν δὲ λοιπὴν εὔνοιαν ὡς ἔχω πρὸς σὲ ἀναγγέλλει σοι Κρότος. καὶ γὰρ εἰς ὅσα ἡμᾶς παρεκάλει συνπαρέστημεν αὐτῶι ἀμέμπτως, καὶ ὅσων χρείαν εἶχεν ἐποιοῦμεν αὐτῶι οὐκ ἀφοκνοῦντες διὰ σέ. εὐτύχει.
