οὐθενα λόγον ποιεῖται, ἀλλʼ ὑπερεώρακέν με αο ὄντα ἐπὶ γήρως δέομαι οὖν σου, βασιλεῦ, εἴ σοι δοκεῖ, προστάξαι Διοφάνει τῶι στρατηγῶι γράψαι Μενάνδρωι τῶι ἐπιστάτηι ἀνακαλέσασθαι Σιμίαν καὶ Κρούψ, διʼ ὧν ἔλαβεν τὰς σ δραχμὰς καὶ ἀποσταλῆναι τὰ ἀπομαρτυρηθέντα Διοφάνει καὶ αὐτὸν Διογένην μετὰ τῶν ἐνγράπτων, ἵνα πράξας Διοφάνης αὐτόν, ἐὰν ἦι ταῦτα ἀληθῆ, ἀποδῶι μοι καὶ ἔχω εἰς τὸ γῆρας τὰ ἀναγκαῖα, ἵνα ὦ, βασιλεῦ, διὰ σοῦσε τοῦ δικαίου καὶ ἐλεοῦ τετευχὼς εἰς τὸ λοι πὸν τοῦ βίου. εὐτύχει.
