Ἁρποχρατίωνι πάντα παρατήρει μὴ ἄ ρα γένηται σῖτοςσεῖτος παρὰ γεωργοῖςγε οργοῖς· πρόιμαπρόειμα γάρ ἐστι τὰ τῆς Ἀργαίου καὶ τοῦ Χρουσοχόου καὶ τὰ τῆς Κερκεσούχων. παράγγειλονπαρά γγιλον δὲ τῷ ἀπὸ Κερκε σούχων, τῷ τέκτονι, ὁπότε ἐὰν ἕτοιμος γένη ται, σημᾶναί σοι. τὸν χόρ τον χόρτον ἔασον ἐν τῇ καμάρᾳ Ἅβωνος· πλῆσον καμάραν καὶ τὸ λοιπὸνλειπὸν πρὸς ἡμᾶς πέμψον· πὲμψον δέ μοι μίαν ἄρουλλαν αὔριον ἔχουσανἔχοντα καὶ ψωμία. μὴ ἄλλως ποιήσῃς. An Harpochration. Paß in jeder Hinsicht darauf auf, daß kein Getreide bei den Bauern geerntet wird. Denn die (Früchte) von (Ibion) Argaiou und von Chrysochou und von Kerkesucha sind unreif. Ferner ordne dem Mann aus Kerkesucha an, dem Zimmermann, daß er Dir Bescheid sagt, sobald es (i.e. das Getreide) bereit ist. Das Grünfutter deponiere im Magazin des Habon. Fülle das Magazin und schick uns den Rest. ⟨Schick⟩ mir auch eine Auflaufform morgen mit Broten. Μach es nicht anders. An Harpochration.
