Ἑρμίας Ἀπόλλω νι πλεῖστα χαίρειν. ἔγραψά σοι ἐπεὶ τυγχάνω παρα κεκληκὼς Δεῖ ον τὸν ἀδελφὸν καί σε περὶ φίλων μου ἀναγ καίων δύο ἀπὸ Κερκεφθᾶ τοῦ ἈθριβίτουἈθρειβείτου. καὶ νῦν οὖν ὑπο μιμνήσκω σε περὶ αὐτῶν, ἵνα ἐπ᾽ἀγαθῷ γενόμενος ἐκεῖ μεταπέμψῃ αὐτοὺς καὶ πα ραθῇ Δείῳ τῷ βασιλικῷ. εἰ σὶν δὲ Καπ ἙρμοπολίτηςἙρμοπολείτης Νεχθερὼς Ὠ.ca2 .ca7ψησ παρὰ Ἑρμίου ἀδελφοῦ Ἀπόλλωνι φίλοφίλοσόφῳTranslations (1)
Hermias to Apollonius, many greetings. I have written to you since I happen to have called upon Deios, the brother, and you concerning my necessary friends, two from Kerkephthe of Athribis. And so now I remind you about them, that being in favor there, you may summon them and present them to Deios the royal. But if (there is) Kap..., a Hermopolite, Necterous [...], receiving from Hermias the brother, to Apollonius the philosopher.
