Πτολεμαὶς Παπιριανῶι τῶι ἀδελφῷ χαίρειν. Τάλβαεις, ὡς ἐνετείλωαἰναιτίλωι αὐτῇ περὶ τῆς οἰκίας, ὑπάγει ἔξωἔξωι καὶ ὃ θέλειθέλι ποιεῖ, ἀλλὰ καὶ ἐὰν αὐτῇ εἴπωεἴπο ὅτι “μὴ κινοῦκεινοῦ.” τωσδελοιδεενκαι οὐκοὐχ ἴσχυσ τὴν δέριν. διὸ καὶ γράφωγράφωι σοι, κύριε, ἵν’εἱν’ εἰδῇς τα α αποτε ἀνέβηςἀναίβης. ὡς ἐνετείλωἐναιτίλωι μοι περὶ τοῦ χαλκοῦ, “ἐξ οὗ ἔχειςἔχις ιναι ησι τὴν γυναῖκα τοῦ Πασίωνος,” ἀπῄτηκα αὐτὴν ἀρτάβην μίαν. ἔλεγεἔλεγαί μοι ὅτι “ὡςὁς καταβῇ ὁ ἀδελφός σου καὶ δώσω τὴν ἄλλην.” Ζωιλᾶς οὐκ ἔδωκεαἴδωκαί μοι χαλκῆν περὶ τῶν πλίνθων. λέγει μοι ὅτι “οὐκ ἀπεξηράνθη,” καὶ πρὸς Ὀνήσιμον ἀπῆλθα. οὐχ εὗρεν αὐτὸν· παρὰ σοί ἐστὶν ἐν τῇ πόλει. ὡς σήμερον Τάλβαείς ἐστιν ἔξω εστιν. ἐὰν εἴπωεἴπο αὐτῇ ὅτι “ ι αι ἐνθάδεἐντάδε,” λόγον μοι οὐκ ἔχει καὶ ακυρευ ει. ἔμελλονἤμελλων ἐλάσαιαἰλάσε αὐτὴν εἰς τὴν μητρόπολιν πρὸς σέ· οὐχ ἴσχυσαεἴσχυσα αὐτὴν ἐλάσαιἐλάσε τραχηλ πρὸς ἐμέ. ἐρρῶσθαίἐρρῶσθέ σε εὔχομαι, ἄδελφε.Translations (1)
