ωναι αρχλιμα τὴν ἐμβολὴν γενέσθαι διὰ πολυχειρίας τὰ γεμιζόμεναγεμειζόμενα παραχρῆμα ἐκπέμπεσθαι ὡς μέλλει πᾶς ὁ διαγεγραμμένος ἔσεσθαι ἐν τῆι πόλει ἕως Ἐπεὶφ λ. διὸ καλῶς ποιήσεις προνοηθεὶς περὶ α ιν ἀκολούθως τοῖς ἐπεσταλμένοις. γεγράφαμεν δὲ καὶ Ἀπολλωνίωι τῶι οἰκονόμωι καὶ Πετοσίρει τῶι βασιλικῶι γραμματεῖ περὶ τῶν αὐτῶν. διασάφει δ’ ἡμῖν ἐπιμελῶς καὶ εεἰς ἐμβληθῇ καὶ ἧι ἂν ἡμέραι γεμίσῃς τὸ πλῆθος ὑπ ὅπως εἰδῶμεν. ἔρρωσο. ἔτους ιϛ Ἐπεὶφ . χ αλιν Ἀθηνοδωρ α τοῦ βασιλ τὴν ταχίστην πρὸς τὴν ους με γοσ εξTranslations (1)
You are to purchase the [title] delivery through the bulk-loading [goods] immediately to be dispatched so that every registered [individual] will be in the city until Epeiph [day]. Therefore, you will do well to make arrangements concerning the matter accordingly [to what is commanded]. We have also written to Apollonios the steward and Petosiris the royal scribe regarding the same affairs. Diligently explain to us and on which day you load the number so that we may be informed. Farewell. Year 16 Epeiph. Written by Athenodoros the king’s [title] with haste towards the [city].
