Ἀπολλώνιος ταρχος Ἑρμίαι χαίρειν. γράφεις ἡμῖν ὑπὲρ τοῦ τουτ ρειου κολασθῆναι. πειράθητι οὖν ἀνδρίσασθαι ἵνα μὴ πάλιν ἄνω περισπᾶι. γέγραφε δʼ ἡμῖν Στρατόνικος ὑπὲρ τοῦ σε λα διαλεγηια αὐτῶι καὶ ε ἀποστεῖλαι ου αλιδε ιδα διότι οὐχ ὑ πάρχει. ἀπεστάλ καμεν δὲ στα φύλια. μὴ ὄκνει γράψειν ἡμῖν πμινα καὶ περμενος τὸ αυ διενγυῆσαι τὴν κρα ἔρρωσο. vestiges αιTranslations (1)
(Translation: P. L. Bat. 25.19) Apollonius and [. . .]tarchus to Hermias (?) greeting. You write us about the fact that you are punished (?) .... Try therefore to have courage in order that you may not be troubled again. Stratonicus has written us about the fact that you (or: about the oil) ... because there is none. We have sent grapes.
