In the year 24, on the 7th of Hathyr, a report to Asclepiades, chief guard of Peran, from Totoes son of Ou, a private citizen of the Ephesian settlements. On the 6th of Hathyr, while I was on the six arourae which I possess in the allotment of Philoxenos, I found the ox of Phanesis grazing in the meadow existing among them. Part of it was already devoured, and the remaining part was so damaged that it had become useless, whereupon taking hold of the ox, I brought it up.
