Ἀσκληπιάδης Ζήνωνι χαίρειν. Ἔρασις ὁ ἀποδιδούς σοι τὰ γράμματα τυγχάνει ἡμῖν ἀναγκαῖος ὢν καὶ φίλος. ἀνάγει δὲ Ἠρίλοχον αὑτοῦ ἀδελφιδοῦν γῆν καταμετρησόμενονκαταμετρησησομενοσν. καλῶς ἂν οὖν ποιήσαις φροντίσας τῶν ἀνθρώπων ἵνα σταθμόν τε λάβωσιν ἐπιτήδειον μάλιστα μὲν ἐν Φιλαδελφείαι ἵνα πλησίον ὑμῶν ἦι, εἰ δὲ μή, ὅπου ἂν καθήκηι, καὶ περὶ τὴν γεωμετρίαν ἵνα μηθὲν ἀδικηθῶσιν, καὶ ἐάν τινά σου ἄλλην χρείαν ἔχωσιν, προθύμως αὐτοῖς συνλαμβανόμενος καὶ ἡμῶν ἕνεκα καὶ αὐτῶν τῶν ἀνδρῶν· εἰσὶν γὰρ ἄξιοι ἐπιμελείας. ἔρρωσο.
