Φίλων Ζήνωνι χαίρειν. οὗ ἕνεκα εἵλκυσαι ὑπὲρ τῶνῶν δύο μνα ιείων γέγονεν αἴτιον τὸ Ἀρίστανδρον ἡμῖν ἐγκόψαι. οὐ μὴν δεῖ γε, ἀλλὰ ἀπʼ ἄλλων συντόμως σοι πορι σθὲν ἀποδοθήσεται. καλῶς οὖν ποιήσειςποήσεις ἡγησάμενος μὴ διʼ ἐ μὲ εἱλκύσθαι, ἀλλὰ τὴν αἰτίαν ἐμβλέψας. εἰ δέ σοι χρεία ἐστιν ἀράκου χλωροῦ ἢ Σω στράτωι, λαβὲ ὅσον θέλεις, εἴτε δὴ παντὸς εἴτε τοῦ κερματίου μέρος. εἰ δὲ μή γε, τέταγμαι ποιμέσιν, οἵ μοι δώσου σιν τιμήν, ὥστε ἐκ παντός σε ἐγδιοικηθῆναι. πάλαι δʼ ἂν καὶ ἐνἐμ πόλει ἤ μην, εἰ μὴ αὐτὸ τοῦ τό μοι ἐνεπόδιζεν. ἔρρωσο. τὸ ἐπιστόλιον τοῦτο ὅρα ἵνα μὴ ἔρρωσο παραπέσηι ἕως τοῦ με ἐλθεῖν πρὸς σέ.
