Χαιρήμων Ἀπολλωνίωι τῶι φιλτά χαίρειν. καὶ διʼ ἑτέρας σε ἐπιστολῆς ἠρώτησα ἀποστεῖλαί μοι τὸ ἀπὸ τοῦ λόγου ἰδίου ἐνλεῖπον, καθʼ ὃ καὶ αὐτὸς χρείαν ἔχωἔχωι ἐρωτῶἐρωτῶι οὖν σε Δείωι αὐτὰς δοῦναι, ὃς μαρ τυρήσει σοί τι μεθʼ ὅρκου. νομίζωνομίζωι δὲ ὅτι πάντως ποιήσει. πέμψον δέ μοι διὰ Δείου οἴνου δίχωρα τέσσαρα . θεῶν δὲ βουλομένων καὶ αὐτὸς ταχέως σε ἀσπάσομαι τὰ παιδία σου, μεθʼ ὧν καὶ ἔρρωσο.
