Ἄγαθος Φανίᾳ τῶι ἀδελφῷ πλεῖστα χαίρειν. καλῶς μὲν ἐποίησας δηλώσας μοι περὶ τῆς μητρός, κρεῖττον δὲ ποιήσεις ἐπιστὰς ἔστʼ ἂν μὴ ἐπὶ πλέον ἐνο χληθῇ· ἔγραψα δὲ περὶ τού του τῷ ἡγουμένῳ. καὶ αὐτὸς δὲ ἀνελθεῖν βουλόμενος οὐ δεδύνημαι μόνος γὰρ ἐν τῇ ἐμβολῇ ειμι ὤν. ἐρρῶσθαί σε εὔχομαι.
