Description
Dies ist ein hieratischer Papyrus aus dem Tempelarchiv von Illahun, datierend in die Regierungszeit Sesostris III. im Mittleren Reich. Es handelt sich um einen Brief des Beamten Horemsaef an seinen Vorgesetzten. Der Überbringer des Briefs ist der Tempelarbeiter Sobekemsaf. Auf dem Recto des Papyrus befinden sich neun senkrechte Zeilen, wobei fünf in schwarzer und vier in roter Farbe (Rubra) geschrieben sind. Die Rubra geben die Bemerkungen des Empfängers wieder. Auf dem Verso befindet sich die Adresszeile sowie das Datum: Jahr 18, zweiter Sommermonat, Tag 13 = 1861 v. Chr.V. Lepper
