We have received from you for the fourth indiction eighteen artabs of grain, 18 art., total. (2nd hand) I, Appinus, have signed. Epeiph 26th. Valerius son of Antiourios has delivered in the city harbor for the third new indiction, (for the account) of the villagers of Karanis, thirty-two and eleven-twelfths artabs of barley, 32 11/12 art., total. I, Elias (through me, Romanus), have signed for thirty-two and eleven-twelfths artabs of barley, total. Notation of barley of the 14th indiction (received by) Dioskorion son of Aninos and Elias son of Dorotheos, bouleutai, epimeletai of barley for breadmaking, on the 30th of the month of Hathyr of the 14th indiction (for the account) of the villagers of Karanis through Valerius son of Antiourios, 8 1/2 art., total.
