βασιλεῖ Πτολεμαίωι χαίρειν Αἰσχρίων ἀδι κοῦμαι ὑπὸ Ἡλιοδώρου. τοῦ γὰρ γ ἔτους, μηνὸς Παῦνι ἱμάτιον οὐκ ἀποδίδωσιν οὔτε τῶι παιδ ἕως τοῦ νῦν πλεονάκις ἀπῃτημένοςἀπηιτημένος δέομαι οὖν σου, βασιλεῦ, ἀποστεῖλαί μου τὴν ἔντευξιν ἐπὶ Διοφάνην τὸν στρα τηγὸν ὅπως, ἀνακαλεσάμενος Ἡλιόδωρον περὶ τούτων καί, ἐὰν ἦι α ἃ γράφωγραφω ἀληθῆ, ἐπαναγκάσηι αὐτὸν ἀποδοῦναι ἵνα, τούτου γενομένου, διὰ σέ, βασιλεῦ, τοῦ δικαίου τύχω. εὐτύχει.
