παρὰ τῷ μεγαλοπρεπεστάτῳ καὶ εὐδοκιμωτάτῳ Μέλᾳ τρακτευτῇ παρὰ Ἄπα Νείλου χαίρειν. παρακαλῶ τὴν σὴν ἀρετὴν ὅπως ἀγοράσῃς τὰ πεντακισχίλιαπεντακιστάδια κοῦφα θέμενος ἀρραβῶναἀραβῶνα ἢ εἰς τὸν Μαχήλιονμαχηλιον ἢ εἰς τὸν Κροῦστονκρουστον. μὴ οὖν ἀμελήσῃς περὶ τούτου, δέσποτα. ἀπόστειλαι δέ μοι ἓξ χρύσινα, ἐπεὶ χρεία ἐστὶν αὐτῶν ἐνταῦθα. ἔπεμψα δὲ τὸν ἐμὸν ἐργάτην τὸν καὶ φέροντα τὰ γράμματα. ἐμοῦ δὲ ἐρχομένου σὺν θεῷ διὰ τὰ κοῦφα τύπον διδω αὐτῶν. καταξιώσῃ οὖν ἡ ὑμετέρα μεγαλόνοια ἀποστεῖλαί μοι μίαν ἀρτάβην φασηλίωνπασιλίονημειλιον. πολλὰ πολλὰ πολλὰ προσαγορεύω τὴν σὴν ἀρετὴν καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἐνοικοῦντας ἐν τῷ ἀφθόνῳ σου οἴκῳ, ἀπὸ μικροῦ ἕως μεγάλων, τὸ κατʼ ὄνομα. προσαγορεύω δὲ τοὺς γλυκυτάτουςκλυκητάτους μου υἱοὺς Φοιβάμμωνα καὶ Φὶβ καὶ ΜηνᾶνΜηνᾶ. τῷ μεγαλοπρεπεστάτῳ καὶ εὐδοκιμωτάτῳ Μέλᾳ τρακτευτῇ παρὰ Ἄπα Νείλου α
