διὰ πολλοῦ χρόνου ἐπιστολὰς παρὰ τῆς ὑμετέρας ἀδελφικῆς μεγαλοπρεπείας οὐκ ἐδεξάμην, ὅμως δὲ χαρᾷ ἐχάρην ὥστε καὶ σὺσο τοιαύτης προαιρέσεως ἔσχες πρὸς ἐμέ. Θέλησον δὲ γράψαι μοι διὰ τὴν κυρίανκύραν Εὐτροπίαν, ἐπειδὴ πάνυ θλίβομαι εἰς τοῦτο, καὶ πολλά σε ἀσπάσομαι. ἐξ ἐμοῦ δὲ προσκυνήσῃς τὴν γυναῖκά σου μίαν καὶ τὸ γλυκύτατον αὐτῆς τέκνον Σύρον φίλον ἐμὸν καὶ τὴν ἐμὴν θυγατέρα καὶ τὴν Ἀμαρκαδοῦν. ἐγὼ δὲ Βίκτωρ ὁ ὑμέτερος οἰκεῖος πολλὰ τὰ σεβάσμια ἴχνη τοῦ ἐμοῦ δεσπότου προσκυνῶ. ἐπίδος σὺν θεῷ τῷ γλυκυτάτῳ ἀδελφῷ seal Τιμοθέῳ σὺν θεῷ κόμετι παρὰ ΘεοτίμαςΘεοτίμα ἀδελφῆς.Translations (1)
For a long time, I did not receive letters from your brotherly majesty; nevertheless, I was delighted that you also have such an inclination towards me. Please write to me concerning the noble lady Eutropia, as I am greatly troubled about this, and I send you many greetings. From me, please greet your singular wife and her sweetest child Syros, my friend, and my daughter and Amarcadoon. I, Victor, your kinsman, revere the honorable footsteps of my master. Deliver with God's [help] to the sweetest brother, the seal of Timothy, with the help of God, count, from Theotima, Theotima, sister.
