In the name of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ, our God and Savior, in the reign of our Master Flavius Mauricius Tiberius, eternal Augustus, year 10, on the day of the month Phamenoth, in the first indiction, at Arsinoe. Aurelius Pamoun, son of Pamoun of Apollope Potamites from Arsinoe of the city from the quarter of Aperotos, to Aurelius Pseies, son of Amaeolus, supervisor of the river workers from the same city, greetings. I acknowledge having received from you through the hand, in words of necessity, one gold coin, valued at seven carats and one half, a quarter gold coin handwritten by Pamoun, son of Apollo Potamites, of a golden coin valued at seven carats and a half from Apollo Potamites.
