Valerius Longus, cavalryman of the squadron of the Aprian turma of the Trajan unit, to Julius Agrippianus, cavalryman of the same squadron of the Volumnian turma, greetings. I acknowledge having received from you, as a loan with interest, imperial coinage amounting to one hundred forty drachmas, which I shall also return to you with the nearest pay without any hesitation upon the completion of the transaction both from me and from all my possessions just as from justice. Let this document be valid everywhere and for anyone presenting it as if registered publicly, while that which I owe you, of a thousand drachmas, remains. Sempronius Sabinus, a cavalryman of the same squadron of the Volumnian turma, wrote [this] on his behalf upon request due to his incapability at the time [to write] and I ordered him to write with his own name included.
