Χάρμος τοῖς ἀδελφοῖς πλεῖστα χαίρειν. πρὸ μὲν πάντων εὔχομαι ὑμᾶς ὁλοκληρεῖν. συνέβαλον τῷ Σκωρὺ χάριν τῶν ἐργαστηρίων, καὶ πρότε ρον μὲν ἔλεγεν ὅτι ἢ δός μοι ἀρτάβας ιβ, ἢ λαβὲ ἀρτάβας ιβ, καὶ περὶ τούτου διὰ προτέρας ἐπιστολῆς ἐδήλωσά σοι, νῦν δέ μοι ἔλε γεν ὅτι τὸ ἐφήμισυ ἐδώ καμεν τοῖς ἐργαζομένοις. οὔπω οὖν ἐγὼ αὐτῷ συνε θέμην περὶ τούτου, ἄχρι οὗ σοι δηλώσω. εἶπεν γάρ μοι ὅτι οὐ δʼ οὕτως συνέθεντο οἱ ἐρ γαζόμενοι, ἐπεὶἐπὶ ἡ τιμὴτειμὴ τοῦ σίτουσείτου ὀλίγη ἐστίν. ὁ ἡγε μὼν ἀμνησίαν ἔπεμψεν ἐνθάδε, καὶ οὐκέτι φόβος οὐ δὲ εἷς ἔνιἔνει. ἐὰν οὖν θέλεις, εἴσελθεἴσελθε καταφρονῶν, ἐπεὶἐπὶ ἡμεῖς γὰρ οὐκέτι δυνάμεθαδυνόμεθα ἔσω μεῖναι. πολλὰ γὰρ Ἀννόη παρατρίβεταιπαρατρείβεται ἀναβάσει. καὶ τὴν ὑμῶν παρουσί αν ἐκδεχόμεθαἐγδεχόμεθα, ἵνα μὴ ἀλόγως ἀποστῶμεν· νομίζει γὰρ ὅτι αὐτὴ μόνη οἰκίαν ἔχει ἐν θάδε. ἀσπάζεται ὑμᾶς Ἡρακλέα καὶ ἡ μήτηρ αὐ τῆς. ἀσπαζόμεθα τὰ παιδία, μεθʼ ὧν ἐρρῶσθαι ὑμᾶς εὔχομαι εὖ διάγον τας. ἀπόδος Σωπάτρῳ παρὰ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ.
