In the {loss} 〈protection〉 of his (i.e., the king's) two arms, [receives (?)] him the West. (?) (Only) as one who is open with him (?), has one been buried. Be wise! Control yourself regarding his name! The Caring (or: the one who pays attention) rests 〈in〉 the pyramid district. (But) there is no grave for the one who speaks his (the king's) name. (And) there is no water offering for the one who insults him. In fear of him, we see every foreign land. Their great ones make them (the foreigners) submissive (lit.: they tame them) for him. 1st month of summer, 6th day. Hardly have his Ba powers crossed the sea, the "basket lands" (the inhabitants of the Aegean) are in fear of him.
Im (oder: aus dem) {Verlust} 〈Schutz〉 seiner (d.h. des Königs) beiden Arme [empfängt (?)] ihn der Westen. (?) (Nur) als einer, der mit ihm offen ist (?), ist man bestattet worden. Sei klug! Beherrsche dich wegen/bezüglich seines Namens! Der Fürsorgliche (oder: der darauf achtet) ruht 〈im〉 Pyramidenbezirk. (Aber) es gibt kein Grab für den, der seinen (des Königs) Namen ausspricht. (Und) es gibt keine Wasserspende für den, der ihn beleidigt. In Schrecken vor ihm sehen wir jedes Fremdland. Ihre Großen machen sie (die Fremdländer) für ihn untertänig (wörtl.: bändigen sie). 1. Monat des Sommers, 6. Tag. Kaum haben seine Ba-Kräfte das Meer überquert, sind die "Korbländer" (die Bewohner der Ägäis) in Furcht vor ihm.
